Bartender

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• -Be responsible for mixing drinks to order and serving the guests
• -Be responsible for having knowledge of all bar drinks and wines

Qualifications

• -Strong verbal communication; personable and guest service driven
• -Self-motivated with Professional demeanor
• -Pass a short bartending test
• -Must have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty
• -Availability to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• Education and/or Experience
• -Previous bartending experience preferred
• -Must be at least 19 years of age
• -Must be able to pass a credit check

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• -Excellent guest service skills: ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards of proper grooming and appearance.
• -Must have basic math skills; ability to count change and balance bank
• -Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training
• -Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and receive orders
• -Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands

• -Ability to stand and remain stationary for the entire length of shift
• -Constant standing, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
• -Frequent lift, push or pull items and objects weighing up to 50 lbs

Working Conditions

• -May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on season
• -Moderate to extreme exposure to noise during events
• -May be exposed to vibrations caused by extreme noise during events
• -May be exposed to strobe lights/lasers during events
• -May be exposed to chemicals when cleaning locations
