About The Role

Picture this: you lead a team you’re proud of, you know the families you serve by name, and your weekends involve mountain trails instead of traffic. That’s the job (and the life) waiting for you in Gillette, Wyoming.

Vertin is looking for a General Manager & Funeral Director who’s just as comfortable leading a team and a P&L as standing beside a family on one of the hardest days of their lives. You bring the leadership experience. We bring a century-old mission and the support of our Shared Services team.

What You’ll Do

Serve families (about 40%)

  • Arrange and conduct services with professionalism and genuine care
  • Provide thoughtful aftercare and share pre-need referrals with your Preneed Specialist
  • Pitch in on service days: parking, ushering, driving, floral delivery, and whatever else the day needs
  • Keep documentation accurate and the facility, vehicles, and supplies in great shape
  • Promote a safe, healthy workplace and stay current on licensing requirements

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of funeral home management experience leading associates
