Position Summary

This position is responsible for a variety of activities, including demand forecast analytics, special project support, customer collaboration support, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) reporting, and process adherence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the rolling 27-month, item-level demand forecast for a designated business within SAP IBP.
  • Review and maintain statistical algorithms within SAP IBP, adjusting historical patterns and future projections as needed.
  • Maintain forecast accuracy results at the weekly item level and support related fill rate and distress metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand all impacts on the forecast, including promotions, seasonality, customer behavior, pricing, distribution, and other market factors.
  • With manager support, facilitate monthly demand meetings with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain partners.
  • Execute daily analyses and reporting on demand performance, providing critical insights into business history, trends, and future assumptions.
  • Reporting responsibilities may include:
  • Generating a variety of demand planning reports and providing analysis for multiple S&OP meetings each month.
  • Monitoring S&OP process adherence and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting monthly customer collaboration meetings.
  • Generating timely ad hoc reports and analyses as needed.
  • Supporting special projects and demand planning initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional team members by providing data needed for regular collaboration calls with key customers to drive supply chain efficiencies.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) preferred.

Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Travel

  • Ability to travel domestically 1 to 3 times per year.
