About The Role

Pay: $25–$30/hour

Schedule options: Monday–Friday, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, or Tuesday/Thursday; part-time after-school opportunities may be available

Settings: Marysville clinic or school district

Help children with disabilities build communication, independence, and daily living skills. At Patterns Behavioral Services, you’ll provide one-to-one support as part of a clinical team focused on compassionate, person-centered care.

What you’ll do

  • Provide one-to-one behavioral support in a clinic or school district setting under clinical supervision.
  • Follow each client’s individualized treatment plan and record accurate progress data.
  • Support communication using tools such as AAC or PECS when included in the client’s plan.
  • Help clients practice daily living and self-care skills, which may include toileting and hygiene.
  • Respond to challenging behavior using the strategies in each client’s plan.
  • Communicate with families, school staff, and team members as appropriate, and attend scheduled training and meetings.

What we’re looking for

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children, whether personal or professional.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid Washington driver’s license, insured and reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to Lynnwood for training.
  • The ability to assist clients with the physical parts of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Candidates with ABA experience, a national RBT certification, or a Washington CBT credential are encouraged to apply. Experience as a paraeducator, teacher aide, direct support professional, or respite worker is also welcome. A Washington CBT credential is required for assignments that call for one.
