About The Role
Weichert, Realtors® Innovations is looking for an experienced, motivated, and people-focused Assistant Sales Manager to support the continued development of our real estate sales team in Brandon, Mississippi.
This is a leadership opportunity for a real estate professional who understands the importance of strong client relationships, consistent communication, ethical business practices, and effective coaching. The Assistant Sales Manager will work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Associates to support day-to-day sales activities, professional development, transaction-related needs, and office initiatives.
The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, knowledgeable about real estate, and comfortable helping other professionals improve their skills and build successful client relationships.
Position Overview
The Assistant Sales Manager will assist with the leadership and development of Sales Associates while supporting the effective operation of the sales office.
Responsibilities may include coaching and mentoring Associates, assisting with sales and business-development activities, supporting transaction-related matters, coordinating meetings and training, helping Associates use company resources effectively, and promoting compliance with company policies and applicable real-estate requirements.
This position requires sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with Sales Associates, management, clients, and other real-estate professionals.
Key Responsibilities.
Sales Leadership and Coaching.
- Assist the Sales Manager with the daily leadership and support of the sales team.
- Coach and mentor Sales Associates to help them strengthen their sales and client-service practices.
- Assist Associates with business planning, goal setting, prospecting, lead follow-up, and client development.
- Support the onboarding and professional development of new Associates.
- Participate in sales meetings, coaching sessions, training programs, and office initiatives.
- Encourage Associates to make effective use of approved company technology, marketing resources, and business-development tools.
- Lead by example by maintaining high standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and ethical conduct.
Real Estate Transaction Support.
- Provide appropriate guidance to Sales Associates throughout the real-estate transaction process.
- Assist Associates with transaction-related questions and routine issues.
- Review documents and transaction materials when required within the scope of the position and applicable licensing requirements.
- Help identify potential issues and ensure appropriate matters are referred to the responsible broker or management personnel.
- Promote accurate, timely, and professional communication throughout the transaction process.
- Support Associates in providing a positive experience for buyers and sellers.
Office Management and Administration.
- Assist with the effective day-to-day operation of the sales office.
- Help coordinate sales meetings, training activities, office programs, and other assigned initiatives.
- Communicate relevant company policies, procedures, programs, and operational information to Associates.
- Maintain organized records and follow established administrative procedures.
- Help address routine office concerns and refer matters requiring management attention to the appropriate individual.
- Contribute to a professional, respectful, and collaborative office environment.
Business Development and Marketing.
- Support Associates in developing appropriate strategies for generating new business.
- Encourage effective lead management and timely follow-up.
- Support listing presentations, open houses, networking activities, and other approved business-development efforts.
- Help Associates make effective use of available marketing and promotional resources.
- Monitor general sales activity and communicate relevant observations to management.
Client Service
- Promote a high standard of professionalism and responsiveness in client interactions.
- Assist with the resolution of routine client or transaction-related concerns.
- Encourage clear and timely communication among clients, Associates, management, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Protect confidential client and company information.
- Help maintain a positive and professional experience throughout the real-estate process.
Compliance and Professional Standards.
- Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable real-estate requirements.
- Maintain professional awareness of applicable Mississippi real-estate rules and licensing requirements.
- Handle confidential information responsibly.
- Escalate legal, regulatory, licensing, contractual, or other matters requiring broker or management review.
- Perform all duties within the authority granted by applicable licenses, company policies, and management direction.
Preferred Qualifications,
- Previous experience in real-estate sales management or office leadership.
- Experience training, mentoring, or coaching Sales Associates.
- Strong familiarity with local real-estate practices and market conditions.
- Experience with CRM, transaction-management, MLS, and other real-estate technology platforms.
- Additional education or professional training in real estate, business, sales, management, or a related field.

Compensation,
Compensation will be determined according to the company’s approved compensation structure and may take into account the candidate’s qualifications, experience, licensing, and responsibilities.
Any salary, commission, bonus, or other compensation figures should be entered only after they have been confirmed and approved by the employer.
Schedule,
This is an on-site position based at the Brandon, Mississippi office. The work schedule will be established according to business and office requirements and may include participation in scheduled sales meetings, training sessions, client appointments, open houses, and other real-estate activities.

- Active Mississippi real-estate license appropriate to the position.
- Current broker’s license, consistent with the requirements of the Assistant Sales Manager role.
