We are a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm looking to increase our talented ranks of attorneys by adding an attorney with 5+ years of experience specifically in Land Use, Zoning, and Environmental law. NYC zoning experience is a plus.

Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice law in New York, and demonstrate a strong interest in Land Use law. Experience in related areas such as Real Estate, Zoning, and Environmental law is preferred.

The candidate will be expected to display influential decision-making and communication skills as they will be responsible for guiding clients through the complex process of obtaining the proper permits to meet regulatory and compliance requirements. Top candidates will be accomplished networkers with strong interpersonal, written, and public speaking skills.

What You Will Need to Have

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• 5+ years of experience in Land Use, Zoning, and Environmental law
• Licensed to practice law in New York
• NYC zoning experience is a plus
• A small book of business is preferred, though not required.
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible, work independently with limited oversight, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proven ability to creatively achieve organizational goals while assessing and managing legal risks
• Collaborative mindset with a can-do attitude, balanced with the ability to communicate difficult messages professionally
• Comfort working with all levels of business professionals, including senior management, in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite

• Location: This position is based out of White Plains, NY.
• Salary Range: $145k-$195k, commensurate with experience
