Assistant Waiter / Waitress

As an Assistant Waiter/Waitress, you will assist a Waiter with the service for food and beverage of an assigned station/team in the restaurant, providing guests with courteous and professional service, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere, and enhancing the overall dining experience by anticipating guest needs.

What you’ll do

• General assistance to Waiters in the service of food and beverages to guests
• Clean, organize and maintain designated service station
• Remove dishes, glassware, and cutlery from guests' tables
• Fill salt, pepper, sugar, and condiment containers
• Prepare mise-en-place to ensure that the station is ready when required
• Provide attentive and personalized service to ensure that guest requests are fulfilled promptly
• Inform the Waiters about any event that may occur during the service time or request from the guests that need special attention
• General assistance in setting up tables, including linens, silverware, and glassware
• Room service and table-side service
• Polish glassware, cutlery and flatware
• Maintain clean and orderly tables and station
• Previous relevant work experience, preferably in a 5* hotel environment
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Attentiveness and patience for customers
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
