Phlebotomist/Processor

<p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><strong>Interpath Laboratory is looking for a Phlebotomist/Processor to join our team!</strong> We are seeking an experienced phlebotomist with at least 1 year of professional phlebotomy experience to support a new embedded client site. This full-time position will require the phlebotomist to work across 3 locations, with 2 days at one site, 2 days at a second site, and 1 day at a third site. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple locations and adapting to the needs of different clinic environments.</span></p>

<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Technical responsibilities: Performing venipuncture for blood collection, obtaining additional specimen types as required, and preparing all samples for lab testing and screening, with a focus on pediatric patients.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Compliance: Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance activities.</span></li>
