Job Description
Summary: Oversees event management and operations in the UNI-Dome, McLeod Center and assigned outdoor athletic facilities; serves as the operations lead for assigned athletic facilities; supervises visiting crews in the production of sporting and entertainment events; provides oversight of support services, maintenance, custodial services, concessions set up and tear down, and security; supervises the preventive maintenance programs and completes minor maintenance repairs; performs and supervises event set ups, tear downs, and facility conversions; performs daily facility maintenance; oversees outdoor athletic facility management; and oversees maintenance of assigned outdoor practice and competition facilities as assigned with the Physical Plant and City of Cedar Falls.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus at least one year of event and facility management experience in a multi-purpose and/or outdoor facility. Student experience will be considered. Frequent evening and weekend work will be necessary. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, the Missouri Valley Football Conference, the Big XII Conference and the University of Northern Iowa.
Preferred Qualifications: Excellent communication skills; experience managing event conversions; forklift experience; and supervisory experience of student staff.

$21.10 to Commensurate
