About The Role

We’re hiring an experienced CNC Lathe / Mill-Turn Machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing operation in Horsham, PA.

This is a senior-level, hands-on machining role for someone who can do significantly more than load parts and run an established cycle. We’re looking for a machinist who can own jobs from setup through finished part — interpreting prints and GD&T, selecting tooling and workholding, setting up equipment, making program and process adjustments, troubleshooting issues, and verifying that parts meet tight tolerance requirements.

You’ll work in a new, state-of-the-art facility producing complex, high-precision components using advanced CNC equipment.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and mill-turn equipment
  • Perform complex setups independently and take jobs from setup through production
  • Make CNC program edits and adjustments at the machine as needed
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, workholding, fixtures, speeds, and feeds
  • Troubleshoot tooling, setup, dimensional, and machining issues
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspection using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment
  • Make offsets and process adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
  • Monitor machine performance and identify potential quality or process problems before they impact production
  • Support development of improved machining methods, tooling, fixturing, and processes
  • Document production and quality information accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized 5S manufacturing environment
  • Take ownership of assigned work from initial setup through completed parts

Requirements

  • 6+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Strong background with CNC lathes and/or mill-turn equipment
  • Ability to independently set up and run complex CNC jobs
  • Experience programming, editing, or making program adjustments at the machine
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
  • Experience machining complex, tight-tolerance components
  • Strong knowledge of tooling, workholding, fixturing, speeds, feeds, and machining processes
  • Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, and other precision inspection equipment
  • Ability to diagnose machining problems and make adjustments without requiring significant supervision

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401k
  • PTO
