About The Role

WSP is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manager – Graphics Design to support our Strategic Growth Team, US. This role will lead the delivery of high-quality visual communications, with particular emphasis on cohesive, long-form proposal documents that organize complex content, strengthen strategic messaging, and remain practical for multidisciplinary teams to develop collaboratively. The Manager will establish scalable document design systems that support contributors with varying levels of InDesign experience, while also overseeing proposal graphics, presentations, infographics, digital assets, and other brand-compliant marketing materials. The position offers regular collaboration with graphic designers and business partners in the US, exposure to international projects, and opportunities to participate in training and explore new technologies and more effective ways of working. The Manager will lead and develop a team of graphic designers, strengthen design standards and delivery processes, and work closely with proposal leads, marketing leaders, graphic design leadership, and business stakeholders across regions. This is a people management and team-building role focused on developing talent, strengthening capability, and creating a collaborative environment where designers are encouraged to test new ideas while working effectively within WSP’s established visual brand standards. The Manager will also help proposal coordinators strengthen their understanding and use of graphic design principles. This role will be based in the Noida office.

Creative & Business Support

 Lead the development of cohesive, long-form proposals and related business development documents, using page architecture, hierarchy, typography, imagery, graphics, and data visualization to strengthen strategic messaging and guide the reader through complex information.

 Develop scalable, well-constructed InDesign documents and template systems that support efficient collaboration among proposal coordinators, writers, technical contributors, and designers with varying levels of InDesign experience.

 Ensure all design outputs are high quality, visually consistent, aligned with business objectives, and compliant with WSP’s visual brand standards, while encouraging fresh and effective ways to communicate within those standards.

 Provide creative direction and graphics support for strategic pursuits, high-visibility initiatives, and business development priorities, helping the team transform complex technical and business information into clear, compelling visual stories.

 Promote the use of effective design tools, workflows, templates, and best practices to improve quality and efficiency. Evaluate and help pilot new technologies and approaches that can strengthen creative quality, collaboration, and delivery.

Team & People Leadership

 Manage, mentor, and develop a team of graphic designers, providing clear direction, regular feedback, coaching, and practical opportunities to build skills through project work and training.

 Lead performance reviews, career development discussions, workload planning, and capability-building initiatives, with mentorship support from local and US graphic design leaders.

 Build a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused team culture that supports quality delivery, continuous improvement, and thoughtful creative experimentation within established brand parameters.

 Support hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, and succession planning.

Operations & Stakeholder Management

  •  Manage resource allocation, workload balancing, priorities, and timelines to ensure
  • effective delivery across requests.
  •  Establish quality standards, review processes, performance metrics, and service
  • delivery expectations.
  •  Partner with proposal, marketing, graphic design, and business leaders to
  • understand requirements, build strong working relationships, and deliver effective visual solutions.
  •  Drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency, stakeholder satisfaction, crossregion collaboration, and the responsible use of new tools and technologies.

Key Competencies / Skills / Qualifications

Education and Experience

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Multimedia Design, or a related discipline.
  •  12+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a business development, proposal, marketing, or professional services environment.
  •  Minimum 3–5 years of people management experience leading creative, design, or graphics teams.
  •  Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry is highly desirable.

Technical and Design Skills

 Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in cohesive, long-form document design, including the ability to organize complex content, establish clear visual hierarchy, maintain consistency across multiple sections, and use design to reinforce strategic messaging. The portfolio should also demonstrate typography, information design, infographics, presentations, and creative variety within established brand systems.

 Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and related design tools.

 Advanced proficiency in designing and constructing long-form documents in Adobe InDesign, including page architecture, style systems, parent pages, tables, anchored objects, libraries, linked assets, and reusable components that support consistent and efficient document production.

 Demonstrated understanding of collaborative document workflows, including how to create files that are intuitive, resilient, and maintainable for users with varying levels of InDesign experience.

 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

 Ability to develop professional design assets such as brochures, white papers, social media graphics, advertisements, infographics, charts, presentations, videos, branded templates.

 Comfortable working with common file formats including JPEG, EPS, TIFF, PNG, PDF, MOV, and MP4.

Leadership and Collaboration

 Strong communication, stakeholder management, and briefing skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear visual solutions.

 Experience working with design briefs, content managers, proposal teams, graphic designers and cross-functional stakeholders across locations and cultures.

 Ability to review and proof design outputs for accuracy, consistency, brand compliance, and print readiness.

 Strong planning, prioritization, and team management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, balance creative quality with brand compliance, and support a collaborative international delivery environment.
