Java Application Developer

• ·Between 3-8 years of Java development experience in the financial industry, direct experience with treasury business is preferred
• ·Experience in Microsoft ACCESS development (VBA, Macro), and able to translate existing ACCESS programs into Java equivalent
• ·Strong knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server Development
• ·Experience in windows batch script development
• ·Ability to perform business analysis and requirement gathering
• ·Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• ·Able to work independently with minimum supervision

·Preferred skills

• ·Experience in Portia System V5.1i report writer’s development will have advantage.
• ·Able to understand VB6.0 programs
• ·Good and thorough understanding of bank’s front office and back office operations, finance and accounting
• ·Good knowledge of treasury products
• ·Experience in UNIX, preferably Linux (Red hat) and Solaris to the level of checking processes, writing shell scripts and checking log files.
• ·Strong in Oracle 10g/11G, SQL, PL-SQL

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• ·Requirement gathering and impact analysis for change requests, projects and new product development
• ·Development and support for change requests, projects and new product development
• ·Management of SIT and UAT phases
• ·Assisting with production implementation
