Information Security Engineer Intern

Join our team as an Information Security Engineer Intern for a 6-month opportunity in our Amsterdam office. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic security environment, where you will assist in maintaining our core defense stack, actively monitor security alerts across our multi-cloud environment, create and update technical documentation, lead simulated phishing campaigns, and conduct research on emerging threats and technologies. Ideal candidates should have a deep interest in cybersecurity, basic coding proficiency, and a background in computer science or a related field.

• Surveiller activement les alertes de sécurité et la santé de notre environnement multi-cloud, en veillant à ce que notre "forteresse cloud" soit étanche.
• Participer à la création et à la mise à jour de documents techniques, de diagrammes de réseau et de normes d'ingénierie.
• Security Passion: A deep, demonstrable interest in the technical side of cybersecurity (e.g., CTFs, Home Lab projects, or security certifications)
• Adaptability: The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and pivot quickly when priorities shift
• Coding Basics: Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language (Powershell/Bash is a major plus)
• Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related technical field
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to "think like an attacker" to build better defenses
• Technical Foundations: An understanding of networking (TCP/IP), operating systems (MacOS/Windows), and cloud fundamentals
• Communication: Excellent English speaking and writing skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
