Mechanical Engineering Internship (Summer 2027)

• Collaborate with engineers on the design and development of space structures and thermal systems for satellite communication.
• Participate in the testing and manufacturing processes of structures and thermal systems, focusing on conduction-cooled packaging and lightweight composite structures.
• Present work and findings to peers, mentors, and executive leadership, demonstrating excellent communication skills.

• GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Science (MS), or Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with mechanical FEA tools, such as SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS
• Upper-level undergraduate coursework in structures and heat transfer
• Experience with CNC manufacturing
• Aerospace or automotive electronics design, development, and qualification
• Experience with EMI/EMC mitigation techniques
• Familiarity with electronics assemblies
