Senior Sales Manager - Media Accounts & Corporate Development

Join Agence France-Presse (AFP), a global news agency, as a Senior Sales Manager. In this role, you will manage key media accounts in Singapore and the Philippines while supporting corporate business development initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. You will lead senior-level client engagements, collaborate with various teams to ensure client satisfaction, and contribute to regional pitches and proposals. This position requires 8+ years of senior sales or business development experience, a strong understanding of the media industry, and fluency in English.

• 8+ years of senior sales, key account management or business development experience, preferably in media, content, information services or adjacent industries

• Proven ability to manage and grow strategic, high-value accounts, including complex stakeholders

• Strong experience pitching and negotiating with C-level executives across diverse industries

• Solid understanding of how a news agency or fast-paced content organisation operates

• Demonstrated track record in corporate or enterprise sales, including solution-based selling

• Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability

• Comfortable operating in a regional, multicultural environment

• Excellent executive presence with outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organised, proactive, adaptable and solution-oriented

• Fluency in English is essential; additional Asian languages are a plus
