About The Role
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining cable cutting and spooling equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Duties include setting machine tension, speed, and other specifications; cutting and spooling various cable sizes; tracking cable footage and updating lot cards; inspecting cable for defects; packaging finished products by strapping and skidding; and picking and storing cable using a forklift. The operator will follow production schedules, meet quality standards, adhere to all safety procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
