PART-TIME CASHIER / WAITER

**Shanghai Taste** is looking for a **part-time Cashier / Waiter** to join our team in the heart of Helsinki.

We are looking for a **friendly, energetic and customer-oriented person** who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and genuinely wants to help customers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and serving customers in a friendly manner

• Taking customer orders and handling payments

• Helping customers and explaining our menu and products

• Sales and recommending products to customers

• Serving food and drinks

• Keeping the dining area clean and organized

• Cleaning tables and restaurant areas

• Other daily restaurant tasks

We expect you to have:

• At least **1–2 years of customer service experience**

• Excellent and friendly **customer service skills**

• A genuine desire to help customers and create a great customer experience

• A **sales-oriented mindset** and the ability to recommend products naturally

• Good **stress tolerance and ability to work under pressure**

• The ability to work efficiently during busy periods

• **Quick problem-solving skills** and the ability to make decisions independently

• A proactive and responsible attitude

• Reliability and good teamwork skills

• A valid **Hygiene Passport** (required)

• **Alcohol Serving Passport** is considered a plus

• Good **Finnish and English skills**

• **Chinese language skills** are considered an advantage

Working hours

• Part-time position

• **2–5 shifts per week**

• Shifts are mainly between **11:00 and 20:00**

• Working hours can be arranged flexibly

Training provided

**Full training will be provided for the position**, so you do not need to know all of our procedures from day one.

Employment

• **4-month probationary period**

• After the probationary period, the employment will continue as a **permanent, open-ended employment relationship**, provided that the cooperation is successful and the position is a good fit for both sides.
