About The Role

Shanghai Disney Resort, the first Disney resort in Mainland China, is a place where friends and families can escape together to a whole new world of fantasy, imagination, creativity and adventure. The resort is home to the Shanghai Disneyland theme park, two themed hotels - Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel, Disneytown, a large shopping, dining and entertainment district, a Broadway-style theatre, Wishing Star Park and other outdoor recreation areas. Shanghai Disneyland is a Magic Kingdom-style theme park featuring classic Disney storytelling and characters but with authentic cultural touches and themes tailored specifically for the people of China.

Shanghai Disney Resort, Walt Disney Imagineering Shanghai, are recruiting for Creative Design Intern, to join in the team for developing and communicating creative concepts and content for themed entertainment venues. Under the direction of the Creative Director and Design Manger, the intern will work on Disney's high standard of storytelling creative with the needs of the business, collaborate with other team members in conceiving, developing refining ideas and providing design intent for various project scope and scales, including restaurants, merchandise shops, theaters, attraction queue areas and hotel spaces. This candidate must work well with others in a collaborative environment.

<>·<>·Be responsible to provide design documentation in form of Illustrator, Photoshop, photographs, etc.

Be responsible for ensure creative intent is achieved by successfully integrating design with other disciplines and components of Facility
Participates in the ideation, presentation and execution of their assignments
Various work to be performed under close supervision of Art Director and Design Manager

基本要求Required Qualifications

Studying for a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Design
A portfolio of collegiate level or professional design work that demonstrates skills and experience in the design field
Conceptual skills with the ability to create situational compositions, backgrounds and props
Working knowledge of diverse design styles and techniques
Good presentation skills, teamwork and organization skills
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and detail-oriented
Strong computer skills such as Illustrator, Photo Shop, In Design, Sketch-up and MS Office Suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Familiar with 3D and 2D toolsets such as Unreal, Maya, Nuke, Houdini and Adobe After Effects to enhance and create visual media
Proficiency in writing, reading and speaking Mandarin and English
