Program Area: B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science M.S. in Exercise and Sport Science. Term: Full-time, 9-month, 2 years The Division of Kinesiology, Health, and Sport Studies in the College of Education at Wayne State University seeks a full-time, 9-month Assistant Professor – Teaching (non-tenure track) with specialization in Exercise and Sport Science to teach courses, advise students, and provide service to the program/division/college/university. Responsibilities: Teach face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online courses in the Exercise and Sport Science undergraduate and graduate programs. Advise undergraduate and graduate students related to coursework, internships, and career preparation. Assist with the WSU Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences (CoAES) accreditation systems. Coordinate undergraduate-level initiatives and programs (i.e., Honors option, student organization, professional development activities, student success initiatives, etc.). Assist divisional and program faculty and administrators with student recruitment and retention initiatives, program assessment, establishing field/practicum experience sites, and other duties required to meet organizational needs. Participate in service activities that support the Division, College, University, and profession.
