Dean and Director, Preparatory Division

The Dean and Director of the Preparatory Division provides artistic, academic, and operational leadership for Juilliard’s preparatory education programs. The Dean and Director of the Preparatory Division serves—internally and externally—as an advocate, leader, and effective spokesperson for the Division and is a key member of Juilliard’s leadership team. The Dean and Director will work to advance a plan for the Division that provides students with transformational artistic experiences, engaging foundational to advanced academic offerings, enhances faculty creative activity, and furthers the School's national and international reputation. Serving as an important pipeline of talented students for the collegiate-level Music Division at Juilliard, Preparatory students go on to top colleges, universities and conservatories around the country.
