Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Competencies

• Demonstrated ability to organize
• Demonstrates leadership skills

Experience

• Three (3) years clinical experience in acute care medicine is preferred
• One (1) year experience in a clinical leadership role is preferred

Knowledge & Abilities

• Ability to operate related equipment & carry out the duties of the position
• Organize/prioritize work on multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Ability to competently use computers and software applications
• Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to be adaptable, build trust, provide coaching and mentorship
• Ability to maintain client/patient/resident confidentiality
• Promotes a strong inter-disciplinary team
• Ability to integrate knowledge and experience to enhance clinical practice.

Other Education & Training

• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Other Information

• Experience in program planning, implementation and evaluation is an asset.
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
