Specialist / Consultant Plastic Surgeon - Government Sector | UAE

A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking experienced Plastic Surgeons to join its specialist surgical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consultation, assessment, diagnosis, and surgical management for patients requiring plastic and reconstructive procedures.
• Perform elective and reconstructive surgical procedures in accordance with clinical standards.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up.
• Manage surgical complications and provide appropriate clinical intervention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other surgical specialties.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Participate in surgical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical governance activities.
• Contribute to teaching, training, and professional development where applicable.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, surgical quality, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Plastic Surgery / Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong operative and clinical experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
• Experience in a hospital-based surgical environment.
• Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent surgical judgment and clinical decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
