Senior Full-Stack Developer – AI-Native

Our client, an established company operating within the regulated iGaming industry, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join their team on a 100% remote, full-time B2B/contractor basis.

This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role for an experienced developer who can take full ownership of features from concept through to production. The environment combines PHP/Laravel, React/TypeScript and browser-based game development, with AI tools forming an integral part of the development workflow.

The successful candidate will be expected not only to use AI-assisted development tools effectively, but also to critically review, validate and challenge AI-generated code before it reaches production.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver full-stack features end-to-end, covering backend APIs, frontend development, databases and deployment.
• -
• Build and maintain backend functionality using PHP/Laravel.
• -
• Develop frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• -
• Work with browser-based/canvas games using technologies such as PixiJS, Three.js or equivalent WebGL frameworks.
• -
• Work with MySQL and Redis within a production environment.
• -
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and contribute to a multi-service architecture.
• -
• Investigate production issues independently, moving from logs and symptoms through to root-cause identification.
• -
• Translate acquisition, retention and product requirements into reliable features for a regulated, real-money environment.
• -
• Work with cloud infrastructure, including GCP services, Docker and Terraform.
• -
• Use AI development tools and agents as part of the daily engineering workflow for areas such as scaffolding, refactoring and navigating unfamiliar codebases.
• -
• Thoroughly review and validate AI-generated code to ensure the same standards are applied as with manually written code.
• -
• Maintain clean, tested and maintainable code while continuously improving overall code quality.
• -
• Keep technical and service documentation accurate and up to date.
• -
• Use AI tools efficiently, with appropriate attention to prompt scope and cost control.

Requirements

• -
• Several years of senior-level software development experience, with proven ownership of production features from start to finish.
• -
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.
• -
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• -
• Experience with PixiJS, Three.js or similar WebGL/canvas technologies would be highly advantageous.
• -
• Production experience with MySQL and Redis.
• -
• Experience with GCP or an equivalent cloud platform, including containers, managed databases, secrets and IAM.
• -
• Comfortable reading and working with Terraform.
• -
• Experience working within large or multi-service codebases.
• -
• AI-assisted development should already form a meaningful part of the candidate's day-to-day development workflow.
• -
• Strong understanding of how to review, test and validate AI-generated code rather than relying on generated output without verification.
• -
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex technical problems.
• -
• Curious, collaborative and pragmatic approach to software development.
• -
• Previous experience within iGaming or another regulated real-money environment would be considered a strong advantage, although it is not essential.
