About The Role
After Hours Pediatrics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Radiology Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging for infants, children, and adolescents. The successful candidate will operate radiology equipment safely, obtain accurate diagnostic images, and provide a calm and supportive experience for pediatric patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and pediatric X-ray and radiographic examinations.
- Position patients appropriately to obtain clear, diagnostic-quality images.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment according to established procedures.
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection-control protocols.
- Explain procedures to children and parents in a clear, age-appropriate manner.
- Help reduce patient anxiety through compassionate communication and reassurance.
- Review images for quality and ensure required views are completed.
- Maintain accurate patient and imaging records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment.

Qualifications
- Associate degree or recognized training in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- ARRT certification or eligibility preferred.
- State-required radiologic technologist license or certification.
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Pediatric or urgent-care imaging experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented pediatric environment.
