Software Automation Testing Engineer Contract

Job Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into clear, structured test scenarios and cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Design and execute functional, integration, and regression tests across multiple systems and platforms, ensuring software quality and reliability.
• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproduction steps and expected outcomes to facilitate efficient resolution.
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues across systems and APIs, promoting effective communication and problem-solving.
• Support and enhance automation frameworks for critical workflows, continuously improving overall testing efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing across complex applications.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum environments and proficiency with tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or comparable frameworks.
• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations to enable effective end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git or Jenkins is preferred.
