About The Role
The Architect – Facilities Management will oversee the architectural integrity, functionality, maintenance, and improvement of buildings and facilities. The role will support facility operations through space planning, building assessments, renovation projects, design coordination, compliance monitoring, and lifecycle management of the built environment.

Conduct regular inspections and assessments of buildings, facilities, finishes, and architectural elements.

Develop and review architectural drawings, layouts, specifications, and design proposals for renovations, refurbishments, and new works.

Manage space planning, workplace layouts, relocations, and changes to facility requirements.

Coordinate with MEP, structural, civil, maintenance, and other technical teams on facility projects.

Prepare scopes of work, BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documentation where required.

Supervise contractors and consultants to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.

Monitor planned and corrective maintenance involving architectural and building fabric elements.

Identify defects, recommend remedial works, and follow through to completion.

Ensure facilities comply with applicable building codes, health and safety requirements, accessibility standards, and organizational policies.

Maintain accurate architectural drawings, as-built records, space plans, asset information, and facility documentation.

Support CAPEX and OPEX planning for refurbishment, maintenance, and improvement projects.

Review proposed modifications to ensure they do not compromise building functionality, safety, or aesthetics.

Assist with emergency planning, business continuity, and building improvement initiatives.

Liaise with internal stakeholders, landlords, consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities, and other external parties.

Provide technical advice to the Facilities Management team on architectural and building-related matters.

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.

Professional registration/licensure with the relevant architectural regulatory
