Customs Brokerage Agent (Evening Shift)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive documents.
• Prepare customs entries in Customsware or other customs software.
• Understand the elements of the Import & export customs SOP.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems.
• Ensure timely customs clearance of shipments.
• Monitor customs clearances and communicate with Customers.
• Timely and accurate shipment processing, ensuring smooth freight process flow.
• Invoice customers the expected charges and follow proper credit approval processes in order to minimise risk ad protect the company.
• Global logistics industry knowledge
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Pro-active approach and strong organizational skills
• Good computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word)
• Fluent in English
