<p><strong>Role Purpose</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking an experienced Automotive Audio Systems Engineer to lead the development, integration, and validation of in-vehicle audio systems. This role will focus on delivering premium sound performance from concept through production launch, working across speaker selection, acoustic tuning, and vehicle-level system integration.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Define audio system requirements, specifications, and performance targets.</li>
<li>Lead speaker selection, placement, and vehicle-level packaging and integration.</li>
<li>Conduct acoustic measurement, tuning, testing, and validation, including frequency response, distortion, and sound quality.</li>
<li>Support prototype builds and vehicle-level testing; troubleshoot and resolve root-cause audio issues.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Electrical, Hardware, Software, Interior, Infotainment, and Vehicle Integration.</li>
<li>Partner with suppliers on component development, reviews, and issue resolution.</li>
<li>Carry validation plans through engineering changes into production launch.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Acoustical Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience developing, integrating, testing, and validating automotive audio systems.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of speakers, amplifiers, microphones, acoustics, and audio signal processing.</li>
<li>Experience with acoustic measurement and tuning tools (Klippel, Audio Precision, SoundCheck, or similar).</li>
<li>Understanding of vehicle electrical/electronic systems and audio architectures.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; fluent English.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Bonus Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with premium automotive audio systems and vehicle-level acoustic tuning.</li>
<li>Knowledge of DSP, EQ, filtering, and digital audio processing.</li>
<li>Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Audio Weaver, miniDSP, or COMSOL.</li>
<li>Experience conducting subjective and objective sound-quality evaluations at the vehicle level.</li>
<li>Background at an OEM or Tier 1 automotive supplier.</li>
</ul>
