FPSO ICSS Instrument Engineer, France at Iota Group

About The Role

Support the ICSS & Instrument Lead during detailed design and procurement.
Supervise EPC Contractor’s ICSS and instrumentation engineering activities.
Review engineering documents, P&IDs, instruments, sizing, hook-ups, layouts and cabling.
Manage discipline interfaces with Process, Electrical, HVAC, Safety and other packages.
Review technical queries, design changes and contractor deliverables.
Monitor ICSS purchase order execution and participate in vendor visits, pre-FATs and FATs.
Support construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, HSE requirements and applicable codes.
Report technical issues, progress and risks, and propose mitigation measures.
Chartered Engineer / Engineering degree in Instrumentation, Automation or Process Control.
Minimum 7 years’ experience, with strong field instrumentation expertise.
Proven Oil & Gas experience, including operating/control philosophy, ESD and F&G systems.
Experience with FPSO projects and EPC Contractor supervision preferred.
Strong communication, coordination and teamwork skills.
Fluent English; French is an advantage.
Willingness to work internationally and undertake frequent offshore/site missions.
