AI Product Owner

Job Description Summary

GE HealthCare is a global leader in medical imaging and digital health technologies. We are seeking a highly motivated AI Product Owner to define, consolidate, and prioritize cross product inputs for a unified clinical AI capability. This role focuses on gathering and synchronizing requirements from multiple Product Managers and ensuring that AI features are designed to be as system level and agnostic as possible. Job Description

Responsibilities

• Partner withProductManagers across variousproductlines to collect, analyze, and consolidate clinicalAIneeds into unified feature level requirements.
• Ensure consistent prioritization ofAIrequirements based on clinical impact,productstrategy, and technical feasibility.
• Maintain an ongoing feedback loop withProductManagers to refine requirements, capture gaps, and adapt prioritization asproducts evolve.
• Translate crossproductneeds into clear, structured definitions, user flows, CTQs, and feature specifications for theAIR&D team.
• Ensure alignment and consistency of requirements across teams to support development of anAIagnostic clinical capability.
• Collaborate withAI, Data, Clinical and UX functions to ensure requirements are fully understood, feasible, and traceable.
• Identify requirement-level risks, inconsistencies, or conflicts and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain clear documentation of requirements, rationales, and prioritization decisions to support transparency and regulatory processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
• Experience inProductManagement, system definition, orAI/ML relatedproductdevelopment.
• Strong understanding ofAIworkflows, data needs, and clinical use cases.
• Excellent skills in gathering, structuring, and communicating requirements across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to balance multiple stakeholders, manage conflicting inputs, and drive alignment.
• Experience with clinical or healthcare technology—medical imaging experience is a strong advantage.
• Analytical mindset and the ability to connectproductneeds with technical constraints.

• Advantage: Hands-on experience withAIresearch and development.
• Advantage: Familiarity with regulatory expectations for medical device software andAIsystems.
