Vietnam NT1 AO - Senior Engineer, EHS

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for EHS application of ISO 45001& ISO 14001, 6S, legal requirements, global requirements and customer requirements in whole factory and related activities.
• Management EHS risk management to ensure all EHS risk will be controlled.
• Conduct EHS audits/ reviews, recommend and oversee corrective/ preventive measures to improve safety and environmental standards.
• Support unit managers, engineers and others in the design, implementation, training, and maintenance of diverse corporate Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs.
• Assists management in ensuring that all operations, policies, and practices comply with internal and external safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Responsible and monitor daily operation of team to achieve KPI of Dept./ Company
• Leading EHS programs to raise EHS awareness for all Depts./ Employees
• To assist other person in charge of the workplace to identify and assess any foreseeable risks arising from the workplace or work processes.
• Continuously improve EHS standard, programs, tools, training and work processes with all related law, regulations and corporate standards/ polices.
• Support implementation of EHS projects/Campaigns and any legal and regulatory requirements and company policies
• Proactive – can accomplish goal and drive performance with minimal supervision. Anticipates the needs of the customer and is always prepared to meet the needs of the organization.
• Can adapt quickly, maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major. changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• Understands and follows guidance to ensure work is performed efficiently. Can make decisions within normal operating conditions.
• Facilitates the team process. Adheres to/supports decisions of the team.
• Assumes accountability to identify tasks required to achieve defined goals and improve service, efficiency and quality of work
• Must have ability to work effectively across cultures and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
• Respond to requirements from EHS manager.

Education & Experience

• Minimum 5 yr. experience in EHS field.
• Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001,
• Graduated university with professional
• Graduated university with professional/ Degree relevant EHS or other relevant, major in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
