Senior P&C Generalist - LATAM

WearelookingforanexperiencedSenior P&C GeneralisttoserveastheprimaryoperationalPeople & CulturepresenceforLatin America. BasedinMexicoCity, thisrolesupportsemployeesacrossMexico, Brazil, andadditional LATAM countrieswhereMilestoneoperatesthroughanEmployerofRecord (EOR). This role is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in the Mexico City office.
Thisis a broad, hands-onrolerequiring a highdegreeofindependence, soundjudgment, andstrongregionalknowledge. Youwillownday-to-day P&C operations, employeelifecycleprocesses, regionalcompliance, and EOR administrationwhilesupportingtheexecutionofAmericasandglobal P&C programsacross LATAM.
YouwillworkcloselywithourPeoplePartners, providinglocalexpertiseandoperationalsupport, particularlywherelanguage, culturalcontext, orcountry-specificemploymentpracticesareimportant. TherolewillalsocoordinateworkplaceoperationsforourMexicoCityoffice, partneringwithglobalteamsandexternalvendorstokeepthesiterunningeffectively.
WhatYou Will Do
PeopleOperations & Regional Support

Ownday-to-day P&C operationsandemployeelifecycleactivitiesacross LATAM, includingonboarding, employeechanges, leaves, documentation, benefitscoordination, andoffboarding.

Maintainaccurateemployeerecordsand HR systemsdataandcoordinatepayrollinputsandemploymentdocumentationwithinternalteamsandexternalproviders.

SupportPeoplePartnersandmanagerswithregionalexpertise, locallanguagesupport, andexecutionofemployeerelations, performancemanagement, organizationalchanges, andotherPeopleactivities.

Serveasanaccessiblelocal P&C resourceforemployees, connectingmorecomplexmatterstotheappropriatePeoplePartnerorspecialist.

ExecuteAmericasandglobal P&C programs, policies, andinitiativesacross LATAM andhelpadaptimplementationtolocalrequirements.

IdentifyopportunitiestoimprovePeopleprocessesandtheemployeeexperienceacrosstheregion.
Compliance & EOR Management

MaintainstrongknowledgeofMexicanemploymentrequirementsandcoordinatewithexternalexpertsonemploymentrequirementsacrossother LATAM countries.

CoordinateBrazilemploymentmatters, includingapplicablelaborunionandcollectiveagreementrequirements, withexternalcounsel, payrollproviders, andinternalstakeholders.

Managetheoperationalrelationshipwithour EOR providerforemployeesincountrieswhereMilestonedoesnothave a legalentity, includingonboarding, employeechanges, payrollandbenefitscoordination, andoffboarding.

ProactivelyidentifyregionalemploymentandcompliancerisksandengageLegal, Finance, Payroll, orexternalexpertswhenneeded.
MexicoCityWorkplaceOperations

Coordinateday-to-dayworkplaceoperationsfortheMexicoCityoffice, includingfacilities, vendors, supplies, access, andotherofficeneeds.

Serveasthelocalcoordinationpointforemployeetechnologyandequipmentneeds, partneringwithglobal IT andexternalprovidersforsupport.

Supportworkplaceprojects, new-hiresetup, officeimprovements, employeeevents, andlocalengagementactivities.

Proactivelyidentifyworkplaceissuesandcoordinatewithinternalteamsandexternalproviderstodriveresolution.
Professional Qualifications
-
7+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, People Operations, P&C, or a similar generalist role.

Experience independently supporting People operations across multiple Latin American countries within a multinational organization.

Strong working knowledge of Mexican and Brazilian employment practices and labor requirements, with experience navigating requirements across the broader LATAM region.

Experience working with Employer of Record providers

Strong judgment and ability to independently manage operational and employee matters while recognizing when escalation or specialist expertise is required.

Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a global, matrixed organization.

Business-level fluency in Spanish and English required; Portuguese is highly desirable.

Experience with HR systems such as Oracle or similar platforms preferred.

The monthly earnings for this position range from 72,000 to 75,000 MXN. Pay is based on the level, location, complexity, responsibility, and job duties of the specific position and is just one component of Milestone’s total compensation package. We pay 100% of the health insurance premiums for our employees and their eligible dependents, with an affordable 2 UMAM deductible and 10% coinsurance capped at MXN $26,500. We also offer a fully paid life insurance policy.
