Accounting Analyst

Join Stryker’s finance team and contribute to key accounting activities that support accurate financial reporting across global operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment while partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions and reporting systems. What You Will Do

• Perform account reconciliations for assigned entities and maintain timely resolution of reconciling items.

• Investigate and resolve unsupported balances, documenting findings and corrective actions.
• -
• Prepare journal entry calculations and supporting documentation in accordance with accounting standards.
• -
• Analyze financial statements and identify variances, unusual transactions, or potential risks.
• -
• Support internal business partners by providing journal entry and reconciliation backup documentation upon request.
• -
• Escalate aged items, unusual activity, and control concerns to management for timely review and resolution.
• -
• Execute month-end close activities, ensuring deadlines and reporting requirements are met.
• -
• Apply corporate accounting policies and comply with U.S. GAAP and local accounting requirements across all assigned activities.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• -
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• -
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role within a multinational or matrixed organization.
• -
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• -
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, formulas, and charts.
• -
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• -
• Minimum 1 year of experience within a shared services environment supporting a large or global organization.
• -
• Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE.
• -
• Experience supporting financial reporting processes within organizations with complex reporting structures.
• Travel Percentage: 10%
