Technical Consultant

Join Zafin, a leading SaaS solutions provider for financial institutions. As a Technical Consultant III, you will design, configure, develop, and implement our solutions, translating client requirements into scalable technical solutions. You will work across various implementation phases and provide hands-on technical direction, mentor junior team members, and support client-facing decisions. • Design, configure, develop, and implement Zafin SaaS solutions for financial institutions, translating banking and data requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead workstreams, guide technical design and delivery decisions, mentor junior team members, and contribute reusable accelerators, documentation, and best practices.
• Deliver implementation of workstreams across product, pricing, billing, offers, eligibility, approvals, reporting, integrations, automation, and related platform capabilities.
• Strong understanding of API design, service integration, authentication, authorization, secure interface patterns, encryption and decryption for files, data in motion, and data at rest, and OWASP Top 10 risks
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Python, J2EE, object-oriented design, design patterns, Maven, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery practices
• Strong database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting across application, configuration, integration, environment, workflow, performance, and deployment issues
• Strong experience delivering configurable enterprise or SaaS solutions in client implementation environments
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, technical consulting, enterprise application implementation, or related delivery roles
• Experience with Kubernetes, at least one cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and messaging or streaming technologies such as Kafka or Redpanda
• Experience designing, developing, or supporting REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, JSON/XML interfaces, batch interfaces, file-based integrations, data mappings, and enterprise integration patterns
• Demonstrated ability to lead a technical workstream or module, review team deliverables, mentor junior team members, manage delivery risks, and provide credible client-facing technical guidance
• Ability to translate business and functional requirements into technical designs, implementation tasks, Jira stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, configuration approaches, deployment inputs, and clear system diagrams
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, documentation, ownership, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, including experience working with business analysts, QA, DevOps, architects, product teams, project managers, and customer technical stakeholders
• Experience monitoring, observability, logging, alerting, production support, and performance testing for APIs, integrations, batch jobs, workflows, and platform components
• Banking or financial services domain experience, especially in rates and fees, billing, offers, deal management, relationship pricing, eligibility, workflows, auditability, data migration, or client implementation delivery
• Experience implementing enterprise SaaS applications for large financial institutions
• Experience with NoSQL databases, caching technologies, OAuth, Argo CD, deployment automation, and advanced DevOps practices
• Experience with Apache NiFi or other ETL tools, Schema Registry, Temporal or other workflow engines, Apache Flink, automation testing, JUnit, reconciliation, and support tooling
• Experience facilitating technical workshops, solution design sessions, integration discussions, environment readiness reviews, go-live planning, or production support handovers
