About The Role

Join Lloyds Banking Group as a Senior Manager of Trade & Ops Risk Modelling. In this role, you will lead the development and enhancement of key components of the Internal Model Methodology (IMM) framework for Counterparty Credit Risk. You will engage with various stakeholders, produce technical documentation, support model performance monitoring, and mentor junior colleagues.   • Lead the development and enhancement of Internal Model Methodologies (IMM) for Counterparty Credit Risk, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver quantitative analysis supporting model approval and regulatory submissions, and engage with Model Validation, Audit, and Regulatory stakeholders throughout the model lifecycle.
  • Collaborate across Risk, Finance, Technology, and Front Office teams to deliver strategic modelling solutions, and mentor and support junior modelling colleagues.
  • Experience of Monte Carlo simulation methodologies and exposure modelling
  • Strong collaboration skills, communicating technical concepts clearly to help build relationships and influence diverse audiences
  • A proactive growth mindset, striving to challenge, simplify and improve existing ways of working through automation, visualisation, and alternative methodologies
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience interacting with model validation and governance teams
  • Knowledge of derivative products, collateral and margining
  • Experience supporting regulatory model submissions
  • Direct experience of Internal Model Method (IMM) development and/or regulatory approval activities within a banking environment, including knowledge of Basel Counterparty Credit Risk regulations and IMM requirements
  • Python or equivalent quantitative programming capability
