Trading Manager - The Warehouse, Waipapa

• As the Trading Manager, you’ll play a key role in our customers in store experience.
• You’ll lead everything shopfloor and stockroom related ensuring our store is well-presented, and ready to serve the needs of our local community.

Working as part of the store leadership team and reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll

• Deliver the trading plan, ensuring seasonal stock and key promotions are being rotated to the front of store and displayed correctly
• Follow planograms and keep merchandising standards high
• Ensure excellent merchandising, availability and pricing integrity standards
• Recruit, coach and develop your team
• Be the example when it comes to health and safety and audit standards
• Keep the stockroom organized and stock rotated and stored in appropriate locations to setup the night fill team for success.

• From seasonal promotions to everyday essentials, you will be key in ensuring customers can find great value throughout Warehouse Country.
• Note for this position you must have valid right to work in New Zealand at the time of applying.
• We’re looking for an ambitious and capable leader who can confidently interpret and execute plans, communicate effectively and motivate others.

You’ll bring

• Proven big-box retail management experience or strong leadership experience in another industry
• Knowledge of promotional execution, planograms, space allocation and visual merchandising standards is advantageous
• An understanding of traffic management plans
• Previous experience adhering to audit standards and health and safety standards
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• The ability to lead through change and deliver results
• A passion for customer service and team development
