PD Engineer

About this Position Develop new products and technologies for Asia hair care market by leveraging existing knowledge and incorporating up-to-date science/ technologies to meet consumer needs and resolve existing product usage pain points. Work with regional and local teams including Marketing, NPI, PSRA, Purchasing, and other functions to ensure new products successfully route to market. Qualify alternative sources of raw materials and drive the harmonization of raw materials. Provide technical expertise to support Supply Chain and business function teams in troubleshooting e.g. raw material and formula quality issues, and consumer complaints. Work with purchasing team to deliver cost saving targets. What you´ll do Lab development for product formulation including professional and consumer products. Lab validation test for raw material alternative sources. Technical support and communication with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive project progress. Preparation of product launch documents including notification/registration files. Regular technical exchange and knowledge sharing with global R D team. Investigation of key competitions regarding new technology, new claims and new ingredients. Patents applications.
