Senior Developer - Metadata Platforms & Team Lead

We are looking for a Senior Developer (level 5) with team lead capabilities to drive a strategic proof-of-concept initiative evaluating and benchmarking modern metadata platform technologies. The assignment covers comparative technical testing of leading metadata platform solutions, development of a metadata editor component, and delivery of a documented technical recommendation with evaluation results and projected organizational impact.

You will own the technical evaluation lifecycle end-to-end - architecture assessment, hands-on development, team leadership, testing methodology, and final reporting with a clear technology recommendation - within a complex, standards-driven environment.

• Minimum 8 years of system development experience, including at least 3 years working specifically with data catalogs or metadata platforms
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on development in both Java and Python
• At least 2 relevant development assignments in the last 5 years involving production-deployed applications
• Proven experience independently leading development teams or proof-of-concept initiatives with documented evaluation deliverables
• Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken

Nice to Have

• Experience with OpenMetadata, Apache Egeria, or EntryScape
• Experience with highly regulated or standards-driven data environments
• Container-based deployment experience (Docker/Kubernetes or equivalent)
• Lead a high-visibility technical evaluation initiative shaping a large-scale metadata platform strategy
• Combine hands-on architecture work with team leadership and direct influence on final technology decisions
