Member of Technical Staff - III, Technical Support

Role Summary

Specializes in providing assistance to field engineers, technicians, and product support in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex systems (e.g., electro/mechanical equipment, computer, complex software, or networked and wireless systems).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for RAN , PACO and IMS products of Mavenir.
• Monitor Packet Core network elements to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability
• Proactively identify and resolve issues affecting data, voice (VoLTE), and signaling traffic
• Perform 24×7 L2/L3 operational support as per shift or on-call requirements

Troubleshoot signaling and user-plane issues involving

• GTP-C / GTP-U ,Diameter, SIP,HTTP/2 (5G SBA interfaces)
• Analyze interfaces such as S1, S5/S8, N2, N3, N4, N6, N11, Gy/Gx
• Use protocol analyzers and traces to diagnose complex network problems

Job Requirements

10+ yrs of overall exp.. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent)

Relevant telecom certifications (preferred but not mandatory)

3GPP / LTE / 5G Core certifications

Strong understanding of LTE / EPC architecture, including

MME, SGW, PGW, HSS, PCRF

Working knowledge of 5G Core architecture, including

AMF, SMF, UPF, UDM, AUSF, PCF, NRF

Hands-on experience supporting data, signaling, and control plane issues
