What You'll Do

As a Housekeeper, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout our skilled nursing facility by:

Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
Collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables
Replenishing supplies as needed
Following infection control and safety procedures
Responding to housekeeping requests promptly and professionally
Contributing to a positive, respectful atmosphere for residents, families, and coworkers

Positive attitude and resident-centered mindset
Housekeeping or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements:

1. High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
2. Ability to read, write and speak English.
3. Ability to follow oral and written direction.

Physical Demands:
Frequent standing, walking, carrying, forward, lateral and low reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, hand, arm and finger use. Occasional carrying (10 pounds), squatting, and overhead reaching. Rare to infrequent climbing, crawling, or stepping downward. Lift 40 pounds (mop bucket).

Environmental Conditions:

1. Frequent wet floors.
2. Body fluid exposure—universal precautions.
3. Occasional dust, fumes and noise.
4. Working on hard floor surfaces.
