Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, we are seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to create a memorable guest experience. • World renowned hotel within China • High profile position within The Peninsula Hotels • Favourable remuneration package Key accountabilities • Strictly implement HACCP standards in daily operations and check the completion of HACCP records every day to ensure compliance with required standards. • Understand the cost of cleaning products and promote cost-saving practices in the use of chemicals, water, electricity, and other resources. Ensure the distribution and consumption of cleaning supplies remain within budget. • Coordinate with relevant departments promptly to resolve malfunctions of dishwashing machines, kitchen equipment, and related facilities. • Monitor and control breakage and losses, and report any such incidents promptly to the Stewarding Manager. • Ensure that all polished silverware, utensils, equipment, and related items meet the hotel's hygiene standards. • Possess comprehensive knowledge of equipment operation and cleaning procedures. • Ensure all stewarding storerooms are maintained in a clean and organized condition. • Effectively arrange and manage work schedules and shift assignments. • Ensure all attendance records are entered accurately into the attendance system. • Maintain cleaning quality in line with Peninsula standards and requirements, even when working under pressure. General requirements • Strong sense of responsibility, with a conscientious and diligent approach to work. • Familiar with various types of tableware and utensils, including their brands, origins, characteristics, and costs, with knowledge of classification and proper storage methods. • Familiar with the use of various detergents and cleaning chemicals, as well as the operation of commonly used dishwashing equipment, and knowledgeable about their maintenance and upkeep procedures. • Physically fit, healthy, and energetic.
