About the role

Job Summary

• The (Field) Service Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, calibrating, and repairing technical products and systems at customer field locations.
• This job profile is intended for entry-level support staff who follow specific instructions and procedures, with supervision provided for non-routine situations.
• This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large, Division / Extra Large organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and technical support on installed equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic malfunctions.
• Assist in upgrades and replacements.
• Provide basic training to customer personnel.
• Follow detailed procedures and safety guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications

• May require basic vocational training (or equivalent work experience) and the ability to carry out assigned tasks after initial instruction or demonstration.
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under supervision.
