About The Role
Rate: Up to 130 PLN/h (B2B)
Contracting Party: B2B cooperation agreement signed directly with Optiveum
We are Optiveum, your trusted IT recruitment and contracting partner. Currently, we are looking for a Senior IT/Data Analyst to join our client, a prominent international organization in the banking industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing scalable, data-intensive solutions and driving the adoption of modern AI technologies within a complex environment.
Please note that you will sign the B2B cooperation agreement directly with Optiveum.
What you will do

- Elicit functional and non-functional requirements by collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, aiming to understand the deeper purpose behind the requirements.
- -
- Interact with Product Owners to clarify and translate business needs into concrete implementation specifications.
- -
- Execute data mapping, data modeling, and comprehensive solution design.
- -
- Design and implement near real-time data pipelines.
- -
- Access complex, distributed datasets and perform quantitative/statistical analysis to understand issues, explain implications, and recommend solutions.
- -
- Contribute to solution design, application architecture, and maintainability.
- -
- Take full responsibility for requirements documentation (including use cases) and continuous quality improvement.

- Collaborate seamlessly with developers, test engineers, and international stakeholders.
- -
- Promote analytical excellence across teams by challenging old ways of working, influencing colleagues, and driving best practices.
What we expect from you
- -
- Proven experience working as a Senior Analyst designing data-intensive solutions.
- -
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in the banking sector.
- -
- Expertise in requirement elicitation techniques and translating business needs into functional and non-functional specifications.
- -
- Excellent skills in SQL (MSSQL, Snowflake).
- -
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt.
- -
- Experience with AI technologies (Copilot, LLMs, and agentic solutions) and the ability to drive AI adoption to deliver faster, more automated solutions.
- -
- Strong understanding of architectural practices like Domain-Driven Design (DDD), event-sourcing, microservices, and clean code principles.
- -
- Experience with scalable data products and removing barriers for users to become data-driven.
- -
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with a track record of building relationships in an international, multicultural environment.
- Tech Stack: SQL, Snowflake, MSSQL, dbt, AI (Copilot, LLM), Data Modeling.
