Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy - Days - FT

The pharmacy technician is responsible in assisting the pharmacist in providing prescribed pharmaceuticals for designated population. Provides technical support and other activities for the Pharmacy Department as delegated by a pharmacist. Assists the pharmacist to provide prescribed pharmaceuticals for a designated
patient population

• Monitors inventory and and restocks supplies in the assigned department/area
• Performs clerical duties
• Practices within legal, ethical, and professional boundaries
• Participates as a member of the team to achieve business goals, quality outcomes and patient satisfaction

Required Education: High school diploma or GED
Required Licensure: Valid Mississippi driver's license. Registered Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy Student in the state of MS. Must be registered within the three months of employment
