Accounting Specialist - Insurance Sector

• Hatzi Filax Group, on behalf of its client , is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager.
• The role reports directly to the CEO and requires previous experience or strong knowledge of the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial records
• Manage invoices, accounting entries, receivables, and payables
• Perform bank and General Ledger reconciliations
• Monitor insurance commissions, settlements, and balances with insurance companies
• Support monthly and annual financial closing
• Prepare financial reports for management
• Ensure compliance with Greek Accounting Standards and accounting procedures
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience
• Previous experience in the insurance sector is essential
• Good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards (ELP)
• Strong Excel and accounting/ERP software skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the accounting function
• Good command of English
• Net monthly salary up to €1,700
