Experience

• -
• Experience designing software solutions for scale
• -
• Experience with either highly trafficked customer-facing websites and/or complex mobile apps
• -
• Experience working with Tech leads to optimise engineering practices and processes
• -
• Experience working with one of the common Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• -
• Experience implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD
• -
• Experience working in Agile environments
• -
• Experience mentoring more junior engineers
• -
• Experience working in cross functional teams (Product, Design and Tech)
• -
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• -
• Experience with relational and non-relational DBs
• Group/Squad specific experiences:​
• -
• Proven expertise in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• -
• Familiarity with TypeScript and React.js.
• -
• Hands-on experience with building distributed cloud-based applications.
• -
• Knowledge of Node.js is advantageous but not required.
• -
• Strong background in long-term technology transformation projects, particularly in breaking down monolithic applications into modular components, is highly valued.

Technical Skills

• Deep expertise in at least one programming language and tech stack
• -
• Understands shift-left testing and how to implement it in practice
• -
• Familiar with Functional and Object Oriented programming
• -
• Familiar with Document and Relational data persistence models
• -
• Familiar with Cloud Design patterns
• -
• Familiar with TDD, BDD and Domain Driven design
• -
• Familiar with synchronous (API) and async (Messaging) integration patterns
• -
• Familiar with modern Application Security Practices (OWASP)

Education and Certifications

• -
• Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering related field
• -
