  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of coding standards and development practices.
  • Analyse and resolve software defects, performance issues, and reliability problems across supported platforms.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build automation, release processes, and development tooling.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for implemented features, interfaces, and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with product management and quality teams to refine requirements and define clear acceptance criteria.
  • Use and contribute to AI-enhanced software development processes
  • Embedded & Device Communication
  • Design and implement robust communication with embedded e‑bike systems.
  • Work with USB/HID and other wired interfaces to support diagnostics, maintenance, and factory assembly processes.
  • Collaborate closely with embedded firmware engineers to align protocols and tooling.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the solution architect, product management, embedded teams, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Communicate technical topics clearly and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
  • Contribute to planning, estimation, and technical risk assessment.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) in production systems.
  • Strong understanding of Ktor and modern asynchronous/networked application design.
  • Experience contributing to complex software systems with a focus on maintainable, testable code.
  • Hands‑on experience with device communication, ideally using USB/HID protocols.
  • Strong background in software engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
  • Ability to work independently, contribute constructively to technical discussions, and support team delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team‑player mindset.
