DescriptionSwitchboard is seeking a Commercial Banking Sales Assistant on behalf of our client, a well established community bank (company name and details will be provided during your first interview). This role is a great fit for a detail-oriented banking professional who thrives in a fast-paced lending environment and wants to be an integral part of the full credit and relationship management process...not just pushing paper, but actively supporting deals from origination through closing.ResponsibilitiesAssist lead bankers with annual financial request collection from borrowers and complete all assigned financial input prepTake an active role in the full Credit Approval Process — gathering, compiling, and submitting documentation required by the Credit Analyst Department for loan applications and financial spreadsPrepare loan packets, including Credit Presentation Checklists, Loan Officer Comments, and all supporting documentationCoordinate with title companies and appraisers to obtain necessary supporting informationHandle loan closings on behalf of officers when neededBuild thorough knowledge of client files and accounts to support effective customer service alongside the lead bankerParticipate in sales and business development efforts as directed, including calls on existing and prospective clientsConduct collateral inspections on selected clients as neededSupport lead bankers on smaller ag/commercial requests including financial analysis, approvals, and closingsStay current on bank retail productsRequirements3–5 years of banking or financial analysis experienceHigh level of organizational skills with strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional, confidential, and customer-focusedAbility to multi-task effectively in a deadline-driven environmentHigh-quality internal and external customer serviceSponsorship not available.
