Your Role
As a Motion Designer at fonio, you own the entire production pipeline for video content, from pre-production through animation to post-production including sound design. You do all of this yourself.
You work closely with our marketing team: the Creative Strategist provides concept and brief, the Content Creator shoots footage, and you turn that into animated, edited, and sound-ready final products that perform on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and our website.
You take full ownership of the motion workflow end-to-end. We are deliberately not looking for a pure animation role that hands off to post-production. We want someone who understands that a great product video is half about sound.
Your Responsibilitites
- -
- Pre-production: concept sketches, storyboards, asset creation (vector graphics, visuals, UI mockups, screen recordings)
- -
- Animation: motion graphics for paid social (Meta, TikTok, YouTube), website, product showcases, tutorials, and internal formats
- -
- Post-production: video editing, cutting, pacing, color, transitions
- -
- Sound design: appropriate sounds, sound effects, music selection, mixing. You understand that sound is what brings product videos to life
- -
- Executing creative briefs, turning concepts into finished, performance-ready videos
- -
- Iterating based on performance data: what works, what doesn't, and why
- -
- Building a reusable motion asset library (templates, components, brand elements)
- What to expect
- -
- Full ownership over all of fonio's motion output, end-to-end, no handoffs
- -

- -
- Short decision-making paths, fast pace, real autonomy

- Access to the latest AI tools for motion (Runway, Sora, Kling, etc.)
