General Member

General Members are responsible for assisting with all of SET Committee events including preparation, promotion, and execution. This position will work closely with the co-chairs and other VPs to advocate for the mission of SET. Tasks include communicating feedback between the VPs and between the student community and our service.

Main Responsibilities

• Actively support the VPs and Co-Chairs with their projects
• -
• Contribute with constructive feedback from the student community as a representative of second-year, exchange, and transfer students at Sauder
• -
• Promote SET’s goal in creating a comfortable and inviting environment for all second years, transfers, and exchange students
• -
• Attend all SET events and meetings

Time Commitment

3-4 hours/week (may increase leading up to events)

Qualifications

• -
• Second-year, transfer, or exchange (Winter Term 1 & 2 commitment) student at the UBC Sauder School of Business
• -
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• -
• Willingness to take initiative and approach new opportunities with enthusiasm
• -
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• -
• Enthusiastic, personable, and passionate
